In my kitchen, modeling the "Tower" design.These last four designs were actually done by my late husband, James S. Drew (1957-2001)
who was also an artist and printer. He was one of the best screenprinters I have known.
The "Beach" image below is from a photo of my late mother, Joanne (1933-2003),
taken in 1956 when my parents first met; for a long time it reigned as one of my family's iconic and momentous photos. My mother was a painter, and was my first artistic influence ---and of course, she was very supportive of me becoming an artist. Both of these people helped shape who I am today,
and it is in honor of their memories that I continue to include their imagery in my portfolio.
